The cashless school cafeteria
For schools · RFID cards & parent app · Saudi Arabia
Students tap their RFID card or order in the app. Parents top up the wallet and decide what can be bought.
Who it's for
Break time only runs smoothly when the student, the parent, the cafeteria team and the school office are all looking at the same thing.
What it does
Everything here exists to move a queue of hungry students without losing track of a single riyal or a single allergy.
Each student gets an RFID card linked to their profile. One tap at the till takes payment from their prepaid wallet — no cash, no PIN, no queue.
Parents top up whenever they like and get a receipt the moment their child buys something.
Flag an allergy once and the till refuses that item for that student — every day, at every counter.
Daily caps and category rules, set by the parent and enforced by the till rather than by an argument.
Students order from the app in class time and collect at a pickup point instead of standing in line.
Plan the week's menu, set prices, and watch what runs out before the second break does.
Daily takings, busiest counters, most-sold items and per-student history — ready for the school office and for any parent who asks.
Why schools choose Fosshati
A shop has all day. A school canteen has twenty minutes, a few hundred children and a duty of care. We built for that.
A tap settles the whole basket in about two seconds. No change to count, no card machine to wait for.
Nothing to lose, drop or take from another child — and nothing for staff to reconcile after the bell.
Every purchase, balance and blocked item is in the app the same day, so the school stops fielding phone calls.
On-site setup, staff training and a team that answers during the school day, not two days later.
Getting started
We set the canteen up with you, train the staff on site, and stay on the line through the first week of service.
We load your menu and prices, add each counter, and give the cafeteria staff their own logins.
Each RFID card is linked to a student record, with their class, allergies and any rules the school already holds.
Parents install the app, add credit to the wallet and set the daily limit and any items they want blocked.
Break time runs on taps. The office gets the day's numbers, and parents get their receipts, automatically.
Parent & student app
Top up the wallet, set the rules and see what was bought — from anywhere, on the same day it happens.
Today
From the canteen
Break used to be twenty minutes of queueing and five minutes of eating. Now the line clears before the second bell.
I stopped sending my son with cash. I top up on Sunday, set his daily limit, and I can see exactly what he had.
The allergy block took the fear out of it. A child with a nut allergy simply cannot be sold the wrong item.
No till float, no counting after the bell, no missing change. Our staff leave on time now.
Parent calls about canteen spending dropped to almost nothing, because they can already see it in the app.
FAQ
Still unsure about something? Our team replies the same school day.
Talk to usThe office blocks it in seconds and issues a replacement. The balance lives on the student's account, not on the card, so nothing is lost with it.
Yes. Parents set a daily spending limit and can block individual items or whole categories. The till enforces it at the moment of sale.
Allergies are recorded on the student profile and matched against every item on the menu. If a student taps for something they must not eat, the sale is refused and the cashier sees why.
Yes. The till keeps serving with the balances and rules it already holds, then syncs everything back the moment the connection returns.
That is the school's call. You can allow a small emergency allowance, or a school-funded meal for specific students, and the system records it separately.
Most schools are serving on Fosshati within a couple of weeks — menu loading and card issuing are the longest parts, and we do both with you.
Yes — multiple counters, multiple canteens and multiple campuses, each with its own menu and staff, all reporting into one dashboard.
Tell us about your school and we will walk your team through Fosshati using your own menu and class lists.
